3D Slicer Workshops

In Michaelmas 2020 we have successfully launched our first virtual workshop on anatomy segmentation from medical imaging. In this workshop, we extracted the L1 lumbar vertebra from a series of CT scans available on Slicer.

Fusion360 workshops

In Lent 2021 we delivered 2 crash courses on Computer-Aided Design (CAD). M3dicube CAD workshops aim to showcase and teach most of the useful features in Fusion360 for doing computer aided design. In the workshops we teach students how to design a pair of head phones using a human head as a reference. The students learn about creating 3D objects, combine different model into assemblies, animating a 3D object, creating photo realistic renders and many more.
